How many Electricity Distribution Companies in Pakistan?
There are 10 electricity distribution companies in Pakistan. All are working under NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority). NEPRA provides a roadmap for distribution companies to improve their performance effectively. The names of all DESCOs are as follows:
1. FESCO (Faisalabad Electric Supply Company)
NEPRA approved its distribution license in 1997. FESCO provides electricity to a population of 26 million. The consumers belong to the 8 districts of Punjab from Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Mianwali, Chiniot, Sargodha, Khushab, and Bakhar.
2. LESCO (Lahore Electric Supply Company)
LESCO distributes electricity to approximately 25 million consumers. They belong to different areas of the Punjab, like districts Lahore, Kasur, Nankana, Okara, and Sheikhupura. If you belong to a given area, then you must go to the Lesco bill checking page on the website.

Gujranwala Electric Power Company distributes electricity to the following areas of Punjab: Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, and Mandi Baha-ud-din.
5. MEPCO (Multan Electric Power Company)
MEPCO provides electricity to the 13 districts of Punjab, including Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal, D. G. Khan, Rajan Pur, Muzafargharh, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan.
6. HESCO (Hyderabad Electric Supply Company)
