The emergence and rise of Chinese mobile phone manufacturers have drastically changed the tech industry. Chinese manufacturers are known for their ability to produce flagship killers in a budget range, and for this reason, they have been highly successful. However, this does not mean that the phones offered by these companies are substandard in any way. One good example of this is the Chinese phone brand Realme.
Realme Phones are always an excellent option for those looking for a great device on a limited budget. Realme Pakistan is known for packing good specs into its budget devices; therefore, it’s logical that it is one of the most sought-after phone brands in Pakistan.
Realme has had a really good year in Pakistan, and one of the reasons for this is its best-selling phone, the Realme C53. We’ve had a hands-on experience with the C53 Realme phone at Price92, and here’s what we think about it.
What Makes Realme C53 The Best Selling Realme Phone?
Realme C53 is a budget phone for the masses that delivers more than you expect with a price tag that is lower than you’d think. The Realme C53 price in Pakistan is a good reflection of the brand’s strategy to capture the high number of low-income groups with this series. Equipped with a Mali-G57 GPU, combined with an Octa-core Unisoc Tiger T612, this is a powerhouse that is also affordable for the masses. These impressive specs, coupled with the lower price tag, place the Realme C53 as the best-selling Realme phone in Pakistan.

Realme C53 Review & Analysis
Body
Realme did not hold back when designing this phone. Measuring 167.2 x 76.7 x 8 mm and just 186 g in weight, the Realme C53 is as practical as it’s attractive. Realme seems to be keeping up with trends, as they have merged their own design with a more iPhone like classy look. This is apparent from the position of its rear camera. The frame and back is plastic though, but it does not feel cheap and we are fine with it, considering that it’s a budget smartphone.
The phone comes in two colors, Champion Gold and Mighty Black.
Display
The C53 has a well-proportioned 6.74-inch IPS display with a peak brightness of 560 nits. It offers a respectful 90Hz and an HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Overall, the display leaves little to be desired and is perfect for binge-watching your favorite shows or just browsing the internet. The display has a slightly noticeable chin, but it’s visually impressive for the budget, nevertheless.
Performance
Realme Pakistan is known for packing some really good power even in their budget offerings, as is the case here. The Realme C53 is equipped with a Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset. With a 12 nm architecture, this chipset offers an octa-core CPU configuration, with 2 Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores operating at 1.8 GHz. This is ample processing power to keep your device running without any lagging issues. Combine this with the Mali-G57 GPU, and the device runs a smooth, responsive interface and without any throttling issues.
The device also provides ample space for all your photos, videos and apps with its 128 GB internal storage and 6 GB of RAM ensures that all your apps keep running smoothly.
Software
The Realme C53 runs on Realme UI T Shell powered by an Android 13. It has a simple, almost minimalistic UI that we personally love. The UI is smooth and responsive, the menus are easy to navigate, and the OS offers plenty of customization options for the users to enhance their experience. It also has a “Mini-Capsule”, a notification bar in the front cam area that displays animation effects for corresponding apps. A cool little addition that we really like.
Our reviewers at Price92 loved using this phone mainly due to its robust OS.
Camera
We were pleasantly surprised with the camera results of the Realme C53. This smartphone supports a 50 MP dual camera on the back and a 8 MP selfie camera on the front. The pictures that we captured with its primary camera were sharp and vivid and made us admire this device more.
The selfie camera is lacking, but that’s the best that you get in this budget. And while the results were not as optimal in low light conditions, the Night Mode does help get better pictures even in those conditions. Overall, we were more than satisfied with the camera quality of the C53 Realme phone.
Battery & Charging
With its generous 5000 mAh battery and super fast 18W charging support, we got a feeling that this phone was designed with heavy usage in consideration. The battery easily lasts for a day with normal usage, which is also evident from the PCMark 3.0 battery test. The battery test shows a rating of 18h 1 min, which is really good for a device in this segment.
This is, however, with normal usage, and any heavy tasks like gaming can significantly reduce battery life.
Sound
When it comes to speakers and sound quality, there is nothing out of the ordinary going on with the Realme C53. This phone has a standard loudspeaker at the bottom, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sound quality is good, and if that isn’t loud enough for you, there’s always the headphone jack to connect to a better audio output.
